| During each monthly meeting we conduct a club show where members are encouraged to bring their birds to be judged in an informal environment. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is a good learning curve for beginners
as it
offers the opportunity for open discussion with many experienced budgie
fanciers. |

Monthly General Meetings
Our meeting has an open door policy & visitors, new & past members are most welcome.
Our club consists of Judges, Champion, Open, Intermediate & Beginner
Budgerigar enthusiasts.
We try to hold a short & informal meeting, during which we share advice & ideas. We also hold an
tri-interclub competition
with the "United Budgerigar Society and Dandenong Budgerigar Society", this provides invaluable education for
our members.
Winners of our competition are rewarded on the night with a small prize & are awarded points, these points are then accumulated. At the end of our club's year (April) a prize is awarded to the exhibitors who scored the most points for the year in their section. |
